The IMA hosts an annual conference in the fall specifically geared towards developing the accounting profession's leaders of tomorrow -- students! This conference is a tremendous opportunity for students to interact with peers from other schools, meet faculty and leaders in the accounting profession, and learn about current topics that will help to broaden their experience and gain a competitive advantage in the job market when they graduate.
Our chapter offers scholarships to student members who are interested in attending this conference. The most recent conference in 2024 took place in Anaheim, CA. Although our chapter did not send any students in 2024, we did send four students from Metro State University to the 2023 conference in Detroit, MI. Below is a picture from that conference.
