Free Access to IMA Resources

The IMA is offering members and non-members 90 days of free access to multiple resources.  This includes CPE, the CareerDriver assessment tool and much more.

Non-members can get free access for 90 days.

There's a couple great online self-study courses with a combined 30 NASBA CPE.  Aside from doing 2 ethics CPE, these first two offerings satisfy the annual requirement:
  • IMA Data Analytics & Visualization Fundamentals Certificate: New! Now through April 30*, learn how emerging technologies are driving change across businesses and develop new skills in data analytics and visualization. Earn an IMA professional certificate, a digital badge, and 9 NASBA CPE credits
    • You get a nice LinkedIn badge out of this enhancing your online brand.  The normal price for this course is $249
  • IMA Strategy and Competitive Analysis Learning Series®: Exclusive opportunity to access this package for free until April 30**. This series of five engaging, online courses and practice question bank is aligned to the content of the CSCA® (Certified in Strategy and Competitive Analysis) credential. Earn up to 21 NASBA CPE credits
    • If you are at all interested in the CSCA credential, take this free offer.  The study materials stay in your courses for one year.  That's a $525 savings.  The exam itself is more modestly priced with a $75 registration and $300 to sit for it
  • IMA Excel 365: Tips in TenLearn about the latest Excel features through these 10-minute, mobile-friendly nano courses, expertly presented by Mr. Excel
    • Mr. Excel Bill Jelen put this course together and it's bite-sized CPE that are easy to fit into a busy schedule

Have you taken the CareerDriver assessment?  If you enjoyed doing personality assessments like DISC or StrengthsFinder, you'll want to check this out.  This helps identify your abilities and helps bridge the skills gap:
  • CareerDriver®: An online career management tool that helps you assess your skills and match them to 46 job roles. Build a customized development plan with the help of more than 1,000 resources, including self-study courses, webinars, podcasts, publications, and on-the-job activities
My recommendation is to assess your skills for your current position and the role you desire.  Doing so can help you master your current role all-the-while taking the necessary steps to where you want to be.  The assessment takes about a half hour and you get a packet of info along with faciltating the next steps.

There's additional free CPE available including webinars as well as other resources and networking opportunities.
