Presentation overview:

At one time, management accountants were responsible for mostly transactional work. But today, they are called to do more advisory work. This course looks at what that means through the role of business partnering. The workshop looks at:

  • What does it mean to be a business partner?
  • Why is business partnering important?
  • What skills are needed to be a business partner?
  • How does one go about becoming a business partner?

Since business partnering has become an important topic for management accountants, the goal of this workshop is to help you understand the skills needed and then learn how to develop those skills so you can make the journey from accountant to business partner.
